First "Sailor Moon Eternal" Movie Delayed to 1/8/2021

Movie poster with old release date.

I should be used to movie delays at this point, but I'm not.  While I wasn't exactly expecting to see the first "Sailor Moon Eternal" movie released in the state this year anyway (we still don't know if Viz Media is picking up the license or if Funimation will cock-block them), it still saddens me that the movie has been pushed to January 8th, 2021 due to Covid-19.  The bad news is that we're going to have to wait that much longer before we can see the movie.  The good news is that the second movie appears to be holding it's February release date, so we'll have that much more Sailor Moon to look forward to early next year.  Granted, I also have issues with not spreading these movies out so that we have more to look forward to, but since this is basically a glorified way to binge-watch the forth season of "Sailor Moon Crystal" anyway (do NOT be surprised if the movies are broken up into episodes like "Digimon tri." was), I guess it's cool we'll be getting it all at once.

Here's looking forward to more Moon Power!
